Luna Mia is a reggio emilia inspired and family friendly program that encourage children to explore, create and research through play. We provide daycare for children from 14 months to 3 years old and our capacity is for 6 children.
Luna Mia Daycare has been Licenced and Insurance and part of the South Philly Community since 2021

Outdoor Play
We love spending time outside! Our Backyard is a special part of our day- a place for play, discovery, and fresh air. We spend as much time outdoors as
we can, and we also try to visit the park at least once a week for even more fun and adventure.
Spanish Immersion
Spanish is a natural part of our days at Luna Mia- through songs, stories, and everyday moments. Even if Spanish isn’t spoken at home, children quickly start to understand and enjoy it. It ́s not just about learning words– it’s about sparking curiosity, connecting with different cultures, and having fun while doing it .
Regio Emilia
At Luna Mia, we take lots of inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy- it reminds us that kids are naturally curious, creative, and full of ideas. This approach helps them build creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence- all while playing, discovering, and having fun together.
Home- Like Environment
The Familiar setting of home can help children feel more comfortable and secure, especially during early years.
Mixed-Aged Groups
Our program includes children of 14 months – 3 years old, providing opportunities for diverse social interactions and learning from peers.
